Park District Conservation Day - VOLUNTEERS

Saturday, August 21st marks the 17th anniversary of one of IAPD's greatest statewide public awareness events. Park District Conservation Day at the Illinois State Fair. Have some fun and help promote park districts, forest preserves, conservation, recreation and special recreation agencies by volunteering to assist with this special day. Volunteers receive free parking and admission to the fair.

Park District Conservation Day at the Illinois State Fair - Saturday, August 21, 2010

Entertainers and exhibitors receive free parking and admission to the State Fair. Agencies or individuals interested in purchasing tickets for families, friends or bus trips may order advance paid tickets in books of 10 for adults (age 13+) for $35 or for children (ages 5-12) for $15 by calling the Illinois State Fair at 217-782-1979 between June 4th and August 1st. Tickets may be purchased at the door for $5 (ages 13+) and $2 (ages 5-12). Children under 5 receive free admission. Seniors )ages 60+) are $2. Family and friends can park on the fairgrounds for $7.00. Busses receive free parking.
